I have finally moved back to NYC! Moving in was not as stressful as I thought it would be. Last year was crazy, but probably because all the freshmen were moving in the same day. Upperclassman can move in anytime this week. I got here sun. morning, 8:00, and I was one of the first people. I did not expect that. The room is surprising spacious. Good thing too as there's three of us girls together. I've already gotten tons of use out of my unlimited metro card. It cost me $81(!) and it only lasts for 30 days, but esp. when classes start, I think it'll be a good deal. We'll see.

Anyway, here's the sister scene. It's another slice of life, lightly comedic number. Hope you enjoy it.

So, I have been without internet for the past couple days and it looks like it won't come back any time soon. I am braving the library computer right now. I say "braving" because I'm smelling something really funky right now. I don't want to know. Anyway, I probably won't be able to post anything else until I move back to NYC (this sunday! ah!). My dorm is in chinatown this year. While I'm kind of excited to live there, its also very far away from campus. Guess I'll get a lot of use from the old metro card. And constantly being hustled. Anyone who knows Chinatown, knows that it's THE place to get some designer handbag knock offs. Everytime I go there, at least twice on every block I've got someone muttering "bags, bags?" One day this year, I'll probably snap, turn and yell back, "NO, I DON'T WANT ANY FUCKING BAGS!" Too harsh? Yeah..

Next up is another little scene, but between two sisters. It will see cyberspace in some near future...

Here's a little scene I wrote a while ago. It's lightly comedic; a slice of life between a father and daughter. Very short and sweet.

Hello hello! So, here is my official first post on my LJ. I've started writing monologues and such fairly recently and wanted a place to post and share them with theater people! I know how hard it is to find acting material. I'm actually a theater major at NYU right now (going into my 2nd year). Everyone is free to take, but please please credit to Alice Lucas. Comments are welcome.

So, here are a couple monologues for ya:
